Κεραμεικός: ο αρχαιολογικός χώρος του Κεραμεικού είναι ένα μέρος από τον μεγαλύτερο δήμο της αρχαίας Αθήνας. Ανάμεσα στις οδούς Ερμού, Πειραιώς και Ασωμάτων υπήρξε ο τόπος όπου εξασκούσαν την τέχνη τους οι αγγειοπλάστες και αγγειογράφοι. Εν συνεχεία άρχισε να χρησιμοποιείται ως χώρος ταφής, και σταδιακά έγινε το σημαντικότερο νεκροταφείο της αρχαίας Αθήνας. Εκεί εκφωνήθηκε ο περίφημος Επιτάφιος από τον σπουδαίο Περικλή και μια επίσκεψη στο χώρο του Κεραμεικού μέσα στην καρδιά της πόλης θα σας ταξιδέψει πραγματικά στον 5^ο π.Χ. αιώνα.

Ναός του Ηφαίστου: γνωστότερος ως Θησείο είναι ένας από τους πιο καλά διατηρημένους αρχαίους ναούς στην Ελλάδα. Ήταν αφιερωμένος στο θεό Ήφαιστο και στην Εργάνη Αθηνά. Βρίσκεται μέσα στην αρχαία αγορά και είναι προσβάσιμος για το κοινό. Είναι φτιαγμένος από πεντελικό μάρμαρο σε δωρικό ρυθμό και ίσως σχεδιασμένος από τον σπουδαίο αρχιτέκτονα της αρχαιότητας Ικτίνο.

Ωδείο Ηρώδου του Αττικού: ή αλλιώς Ηρώδειο είναι αρχαίο ωδείο - θέατρο της ρωμαϊκής περιόδου στα νοτιοδυτικά της Ακρόπολης. Το έργο οικονομικά ανέλαβε ο Ηρώδης ο Αττικός τον 2ο αιώνα μ.Χ., προς τιμήν της συζύγου του Ασπασίας Αννίας Ρηγίλλης, η οποία πέθανε το 160 μ.Χ.. Ο χώρος έχει 32 σειρές από μαρμάρινες κερκίδες και η χωρητικότητά του ήταν της τάξης των 5000 περίπου θεατών και ήταν κλειστού τύπου με ξύλινη οροφή από ξύλο κέδρου. Σήμερα λειτουργεί ώς χώρος συναυλιών και θεατρικών παραστάσεων και σε συνδυασμό με την καταπληκτική γεωγραφική του θέση αποτελεί ίσως το πιο κατανυκτικό θέατρο – ωδείο στη χώρα.
