Ballet, or classical dance, was born in Italy in the 15th century but evolved and became established in France and Russia. Its name comes from the Italian word ballare (ballet), which means "I dance".

This also explains why the majority of the terminology used consists of French words. Initially the roles were performed by male dancers, who disguised themselves as women in order to embody the female roles.

In the 18th century Jean Georges Noverre laid the basic principles of ballet d’action. Since then the performances begin to look like theatrical works with musical accompaniment and sets.

In our country, great performances of classical ballet can be enjoyed on the National Opera under the auspices of important organizations and cared for by exceptional and renowned artists and representatives of the genre.

Caviar...Which Species Is The Best?

For a long time, caviar from the Beluga, Osetra, or Sevruga sturgeon from the Caspian Sea was the only caviar available. The term has grown in scope, both semantically and geographically, in recent years. Caviar is currently grown and harvested not only in Russia and Iran, but also in a variety of other countries, including Bulgaria, France, California, and even Uruguay.

Beluga caviar from the huso huso sturgeon is the world's most sumptuous caviar and the zenith of culinary expertise. Beluga is regarded for its silky, buttery texture and a rich, delicate flavor that melts in the mouth. It has enormous, iridescent eggs of a light shimmering grey.

These little, delicate grey to black eggs have a crisp texture that makes them a pleasure to eat.

Kaluga, also known as river beluga, comes from the Amur River basin and, like most sturgeon caviars these days, is largely farm-raised, allowing for sustainability and stringent quality control. Kaluga caviar is quite comparable to Beluga caviar – creamy, velvety, with an almost buttered consistency and a fantastic hard burst – and is now considered one of the best caviars available.

The price of caviar has reduced dramatically as a result of the flood of farmed sturgeon. For an ounce of premium caviar, you may expect to pay roughly $100 (plus or minus). However, you get what you pay for: at the higher end of the scale, you'll get caviar that represents the time and effort put into the fish, as opposed to cheap caviar that is the result of poor production.

Caviar, The Ultimate Natural Cosmetic

A new study published in the European Journal of Lipid Science and Technology sought to determine if caviar eggs may truly offer value to cosmetic products.

Lipids are biological molecules that dissolve in non-polar solvents but are insoluble in polar solvents such as water. Lipids have important roles in biological activities such as energy storage, cell signaling, and cell structure. 

Lipids are frequently added to cosmetics, particularly skin creams such as moisturizers, to aid with skin hydration. A research published in the European Journal of Lipid Science and Technology posed a question and compared caviar eggs to a less expensive option such as Brill eggs.

The researchers discovered that caviar eggs had considerably more triacylglycerol than brill eggs, as well as greater levels of linoleic acid and omega-3 fatty acids. When the lipids in the eggs are considered, the results indicate that caviar has an advantage over brill eggs!
